Archaeological site guards on strike
Guards at Greece's archaeological sites were on a three-hour strike on Friday morning over a string of demands, including the hiring of more staff to protect the country's historical monuments.
The guards' strike was scheduled to run until 11 a.m., prompting the closure of the sites.

Delivery workers and couriers make their demands felt
Food delivery and courier workers take to the streets of Athens on their way to the Labor Ministry during Thursday's 24-hour strike to demand better working conditions. Strikers are calling on employers to provide scooters to workers, who are not only obliged to use their own vehicles but also, frequently, to pay for gas and cover their own insurance.

The groups representing food delivery workers in Athens and Thessaloniki on Wednesday called on workers to join a 24-hour strike on Thursday to demand better working conditions.
With the slogan "Don't order in today, cook some spaghetti," the unions are appealing to consumers to back their cause.

Hospital workers to stage work stoppage in Attica on March 28
The union of Greek hospital workers, POEDIN, on Tuesday announced a four-hour work stoppage in Attica for March 28.
The action is scheduled to start at 8 a.m., and is expected to affect services at the region's public hospitals.
Strikers will also be gathering for a protest rally outside the Labour Ministry in downtown Athens at 8.30 a.m.
Alitalia Canceled 95 Flights Due to Strike
95 flights of the national Italian carrier were canceled due to a strike.
From 11.00 to 15.00 Bulgarian time, domestic and international flights of Alitalia were suspended.
A spokesman for the national carrier has assured that all passengers will be redirected within today.
