Germany's Continental opens new plant in northern Serbia
A new plant of German car part maker Continental was opened in Subotica, northern Serbia, on Tuesday.
Police seize over 650,000 packets of cigarettes
The Serbian police have seized 653,450 packets of cigarettes worth RSD 120 million, it was announced on Friday.
The raids were carried out simultaneously in Belgrade, Kraljevo, Subotica, and Novi Pazar, and also resulted in the arrest of five suspects.

Chocolate war continues: Serbian candy congratulates holidays on billboards in Zagreb
BELGRADE - Serbian company over whose chocolates started "Chocolate Balkan War" decided to advertise in Croatia.
Subotica based company "Pionir" placed several advertising billboards for "Mony", chocolates given by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic to children in Dubrovnik.
Horrific accident leaves 3 dead, including 2 children
Two boys, aged five and eight, and a 45-year-old man lost their lives early on Friday in a traffic accident on the Novi Sad-Subotica highway.
The website 021.rs is reporting that the crash happened at around 01:30 CET, and that the victims died on the spot.

Serbia: Migrants returned to Belgrade from Indjija
BELGRADE - A group of migrants who yesterday went on foot from Belgrade towards Hungarian border, was returned to the capital of Serbia. Buses with about 150 migrants arrived just before 3pm to Belgrade, writes Serbian daily "Kurir".
Migrants have arrived to Indjija, from where they were returned to Belgrade.

Migrants tried to rape underage girl in Subotica
SUBOTICA - Two Pakistani nationals, settled in the Reception Centre in Subotica, attacked on Monday an underage girl and tried to rape her.
At that moment a man was passing by and prevented the rape.

Two migrants detained for sexually assaulting girl
The Basic Court in Subotica has ordered two Pakistani citizens held in detention for up to 30 days.
They were arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an underage girl in this northern Serbian town.
