Bosniaks to celebrate anniversary of separatist declaration

The Bosniak National Council (BNV), headed by Sulejman Ugljanin, will mark the 100th anniversary of the controversial Sjenica Declaration, writes Blic.

The daily recalls that with this declaration, leaders from the Sandzak area "wanted to secede parts of the territories of Serbia and Montenegro."

Ugljanin: We've not been invited - but would have refused

SDA of Sandzak leader Sulejman Ugljanin on Monday said his party had not been invited to join Serbia's new government.

But even if the invitation had come, "we would have refused the offer," he told reporters after a meeting with President Tomislav Nikolic in Belgrade on Monday - held as a part of a series of separate meetings on Serbia's new government.

PM confirms he's considering early elections

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he was thinking about calling early parliamentary elections, but that a final decision has not been made yet.

"I see that Messrs. (DS leader Bojan) Pajtic and (SDA leader Sulejman) Ugljanin are very happy about elections, it's possible their wish will come true," Vucic said.
