Why Serbia’s Disgruntled Citizens Aren’t Backing the Opposition

The international journalistic organisation Reporters without Borders ranked Serbia in 90th place in 2019 in terms of freedom of the media, 14 places lower than in 2018. According to the EU statistics agency Eurostat, about 51,000 mostly young and educated people leave Serbia every year.

They point out that it is a continuation of the violence policy, which is the exact image of the Alliance for Serbia (SzS).
SNS Member of the Presidency and Councilor in the Belgrade City Assembly Vladimir Orlic said that it was a "political orgy" organized in front of Vesic's house by "Ljotic's followers by profession, hooligans by nature and thieves by habit".

Opposition alliance wants more time on state TV

This opposition grouping also wants RTS (Radio-Television of Serbia) to respect the right of rebuttal.

In a letter sent to RTS, leaders of the Alliance demand that, starting within 15 days, their representatives be regularly included in news programs, "at least 30 minutes a week," and they in particular insist on participating in debates.
