Athenian club six d.o.g.s. (sixdogs.gr) invites dance-lovers to rave in the new year in a 12-hour techno marathon! From 1 a.m. to 1 p.m., cutting-edge techno DJ Bonso, vivid house and electro duo Useless Co., and many more select guests in the techno and house music scene will take the decks to create a beats-filled backdrop from which to see out 2023.

Start the New Year with Italian superstar techno DJ Anfisa Letyago, who lands in Athens as the guest of Blend, the city's oldest party crew. The pounding ritual will take place at the Oddity Club (oddityclub.gr) in Petralona. Highly acclaimed American producer Gaiser will provide the soundtrack for the early hours of the new year, followed by local rave legends Mikee and Manolaco.

On Christmas Eve, Ukraine's Miss Monique takes over the decks at the Oddity Club (oddityclub.gr) for a night to remember with smoothly melting techno rhythms, classic trance and progressive tunes. The new season of SEDS, popular DJ parties hosted by one of the city's techno-headed crews, kicks off with Ellen Allien at Oddity Club (61 Iraklidon). Music producer, DJ, and founder of the BPitch and UFO Inc record labels, Allien is well known for fusing techno and rave into her dancefloor belters.

Australian-born Jordon Alexander, known as Mall Grab, has risen from exciting newcomer to a dominant force on the dance music scene in the last six years. Based in London, the 23-year-old is heavily influenced by the steelworks of his hometown, Newcastle, as his music explores the roots of house and techno while keeping things stripped back and minimal, yet atmospheric.

The City of Athens' Technopolis multispace in the downtown neighborhood of Gazi launches its latest edition of the Vinyl Market in the buildings of the former gasworks plant this weekend. New collections and new releases will be available for purchase from a large range of music styles and backgrounds, including rock, soul, funk, jazz, Latin, blues, ethnic and electronica, among others.

Italian techno duo Tale of Us are making their eighth visit to Greek shores and will be performing on the Athens Riviera on Sunday, July 28. Composed of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri, Tale of Us was listed among the top 100 alternative DJs by DJ Mag last year. Conte and Milleri will be joined by Milan-based DJ duo Hunter/Game as well as electronica acts Hill of Vision and Voices of Valley.

The critically acclaimed Plissken Festival, hailed for its line-up choices, returns to the Greek capital's Technopolis cultural center with 34 artists covering a wide range of contemporary music styles, from indie to soul-funk, electronica and synthwave pop.
