Russia, Turkey and Iran failed at peace talks on July 5 to hammer out details including the boundaries and policing of four safe zones in war-torn Syria, Moscow's chief negotiator said.

An ongoing shooting by three gunmen inside the Iranian parliament has left two injured, Iran's media reported Wednesday.

"Three attackers inside #Iran 's Parliament; 2 injured so far; fire exchanges continue," the Tasnim news service said on its Twitter account.

Hostages are held inside the Iranian parliament amid an ongoing shooting.

As more and more people are coming to believe that the black clouds hanging over tourism in Turkey will not be so easily dispersed, the country is developing new strategies to achieve its $500-billion target in exports in 2023. 

One of them is the Turkish Trade Centers project carried out by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the Economy Ministry.

The embassy building located near the site of the collapse has not taken damage.       

Many firefighters were feared trapped under the rubble after Iran's oldest high-rise, the 15-storey Plasco building in downtown Tehran, collapsed live on TV on Jan. 19, following a fire.

A high-rise building in Tehran engulfed by a fire collapsed on Jan. 19, killing at least 30 firefighters and injuring some 75 people, state media reported.

The "I Run Iran" marathon took place in Iran on April 9. This was the first marathon to ever take place in Iran. Of course, women runners were banned from participating, but local video journalist Bahar Shoghi tweeted that she had seen two women racing unofficially.

Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-born Turkish businessman who was acquitted in a vast Turkish graft probe in 2014 after 70 days in jail, has been arrested in Florida on charges of conspiracy to conduct hundreds of millions of dollars in financial transactions for the Iranian government or other entities to evade U.S. sanctions. 

Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski said that Iran has readiness to develop a transport corridor through Bulgaria

Moskovski said this at the transport parliamentary committee on Wednesday, Focus news agency informs.
