The 6th in the world is placed in the same stream with the eight-time champion Roger Federer (Switzerland), which means they can meet in the semifinals.
Troicki loses to Berdych in Rotterdam
ROTTERDAM - Serbian Viktor Troicki has failed to cause an upset at the Rotterdam tennis tournament after losing 6-1, 6-2 to Czech Tomas Berdych in the second round on Wednesday.
In a convincing display, Berdych won after just 62 minutes of play and is now 7-1 head-to-head against Troicki.

Twelve-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will not play again in 2017 because of an elbow injury, according to BBC Sport.
Former world number one Djokovic, 30, retired injured during his Wimbledon quarter-final match against Tomas Berdych on 12 July.
He said then he had suffered an elbow problem for over a year and a half.

Djokovic retires from Wimbledon quarters
LONDON - Serbia's Novak Djokovic retired from his Wimbledon quarter-final match against Tomas Berdych late Wednesday due to an elbow injury.
The Czech, who was leading 7-6 (7-2), 2-0, is now 3-25 head-to-head against Djokovic.

Djokovic through to Wimbledon quarters
LONDON - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Wimbledon quarter-finals after beating Adrian Mannarino of France 6-2, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 on Tuesday.
Djokovic, who is now 2-0 head-to-head against Mannarino, will play Czech Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Djokovic saves five match points to advance to Doha final
DOHA - Serbia's Novak Djokovic will be defending his Doha title in the final of the ATP tennis tournament after saving five match points to knock out Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 4-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 in the semi-final on Friday.
