Nadal crushed as Sharapova slaps down Bouchard
Rafael Nadal's Australian Open dream lay in tatters Jan. 27 with the third seed crushed by Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals, but Maria Sharapova showed who's boss by slapping down Eugenie Bouchard.
The out-of-sorts Spaniard, a 14-time Grand Slam champion, was never in contention against a player he had beaten the last 17 times they met stretching back to 2006.

Troicki loses to Berdych
MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki ended his run at the Australian Open in Melbourne, after losing to Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in a third-round match 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday morning (CET).

Troicki extends his winning streak in Melbourne
MELBOURNE - Serbia's Viktor Troicki advanced to the third round of the Australian Open tennis after defeating Argentina's Leonardo Mayer 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 in Melbourne early Wednesday morning CET.
The Serb, who extended his winning streak to 10 matches, will next play Czech Tomas Berdych, who beat Jurgen Melzer of Austria 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-2.

Djokovic takes ATP World Tour Finals, Federer withdraws
LONDON - World number one Novak Djokovic has won the ATP World Tour Finals in London, since his opponent in the final, Switzerland's Roger Federer, withdrew before the match, citing injury.
The final was scheduled for 7 p.m. CET at the O2 Arena, but Federer, who has won the final tournament of the season multiple times, had to withdraw due to a back injury.
Djokovic through to semifinals, cements ATP top spot
LONDON - World number one Novak Djokovic has cemented his top spot in the ATP rankings till the end of the year, after advancing to the semifinals of the Masters tournament in London as the best placed player in Group A following a 6-2 , 6-2 win over Czech Tomas Berdych.
Djokovic dismantles Wawrinka
LONDON - World number one Novak Djokovic defeated Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka 6-3 6-0 at the ATP Finals in London on Wednesday to get within reach of the semifinals of the tournament.
This puts Djokovic a step away from securing the top spot in the ATP rankings at the end of the season, since he needs one more victory to do this.

Djokovic preserves top position on ATP list
LONDON - The world's best tennis player Novak Djokovic managed to preserve the first place on the latest ATP list, leaving behind Switzerland's Roger Federer.
This week, Djokovic has a total of 10,010 points, since the points from the final tournament in London have been subtracted, while Federer has a total of 8,700 points.

Tennis-Djokovic books Paris Masters final spot, plays Raonic
PARIS, - World number one Novak Djokovic progressed to the final of the Paris Masters, after beating Kei Nishikori of Japan in the semifinals 6-2, 6-3 on Saturday.
The job was easier for Serbia's best tennis player than what had been expected, given Nishikori's victory over Djokovic in the last match between them, the semifinals of this year's US Open.
Lajovic in second round at Valencia Open
VALENCIA - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic reached the second round at the Valencia Open 500, after defeating Joao Sousa of Portugal 6-3, 7-6 (10-8) on Tuesday.
Lajovic, who is currently 67th in the ATP rankings, will play the winner of the match between Spain's Pablo Andujar and Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in his bid for the quarterfinals.

Bulgaria’s Dimitrov Fails to Win Stockholm Open Title
Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic has defeated Bulgarian star tennis player Grigor Dimitrov in the final of the Stockholm Open.
Berdych won the Stockholm Open title by winning to Dimitrov in a match of 7:5, 4:6, 4:6 which lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Dimitrov loses 100 points in the ATP ranking due to the loss.
