Darwin notebooks return to UK library
Two notebooks owned by naturalist Charles Darwin, including one containing a sketch of his famous Tree of Life, have been returned to Cambridge University's library, more than 20 years after they were reported missing.

Vessels with 'tree of life' motifs found in Turkey's Domuztepe
Excavations in the Domuztepe Mound in the southern province of Kahramanmaraş, considered to be the biggest settlement in the era since the usage of the term "Near East," have unearthed vessels depicting "tree of life" motifs.
The mound is located close to the Kelibişler neighborhood in the Pazarcık district.
Switzerland Halts Pork Imports Over Swine Fever Fears
Switzerland is to ban imports of live pigs and pork from several EU countries, including Bulgaria, in a bid to stop an African swine fever outbreak from reaching the country.
Imports from Bulgaria and Romania and some parts of Latvia and Croatia will be banned as of Wednesday, Swiss food safety authorities said on Tuesday.
