Pro-Russian Rebels Sign Roadmap for Implementation of Minsk Agreement

Kiev and the pro-Russian rebels have signed a roadmap for the implementation of the ceasefire drafted during the marathon 17-hour talks in Minsk, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko.

Poroshenko, as cited by AFP and The Telegraph, informed that the contact group had signed a document that had been prepared amid substantial tension.

Minsk to Host Peace Talks Over Ukraine

A further round of negotiations among the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France is set to take place in Minsk on Wednesday.

German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert said in a statement that the decision was made after an extensive conference call between the country representatives on Sunday, BBC reported.

Dacic calls for prompt meeting in Minsk

MINSK - OSCE efforts aimed at calling a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group and pro-Russian activists from eastern Ukraine still have not produced results, and OSCE Chair and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic pointed to the importance of the talks and called on all relevant sides to organise a meeting as soon as possible, states the release issued on Friday.

Ukraine relies on Serbia's good relations with Russia

BELGRADE - Ukraine expects Serbia's OSCE Chairmanship to be transparent, impartial and objective, and beneficial to the organization, as well as to use the traditionally good relations between Belgrade and Moscow to open up new opportunities for finding effective ways to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine, Charge d'Affaires at the Ukrainian embassy in Belgrade Mykola Dzygun said.
