Roman-era coin returned to museum by youngest donator
A child has become Türkiye's youngest artifact donor after delivering a coin from the 2,000-year-old Roman-era ancient city of Alexandria Troas that he found in the garden of his house to Troy Museum Director Rıdvan Gölcük via archaeologist Hazal Fırat.
Troy Museum targets 1 million visitors in 2024
Troy Museum in Çanakkale, where artifacts from the 5,600-year-old Troy Ruins are displayed, is set to host 800,000 local and foreign tourists until the end of the year, and it targets to reach 1 million visitors in 2024.

Troy Museum receives European Museum Academy award
Troy Museum in the northwestern province of Çanakkale has been deemed worthy of the European Museum Academy Special Award.
The Culture and Tourism Ministry said in a statement on Sept. 19 that the museum also received the 2020 European Museum of the Year Special Appreciation Award.

Troy Museuma candidate for European Museum of the Year Award
