Blinken promises Zelensky US will sustain support for Ukraine
Secretary of State Antony Blinken promised sustained U.S. support for Ukraine in a meeting Tuesday with President Volodymyr Zelensky, despite a row in the U.S. Congress on approving new funding.

The son of the US president did not testify in the impeachment inquiry targeting his father, Joe Biden.
According to Voice of America, Biden did not address reporters and sat in the hall with his lawyer, while members of the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform argued and criticized him for his sudden appearance at the hearing.

Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed to wreak "wrath" against Russian forces in 2024, hours before Ukraine saw attacks on the first day of the year.
Russia and Ukraine have seen an escalation in strikes in recent days, including an unprecedented assault on the Russian city of Belgorod that killed 24 people on Saturday.

"It is important that the world reacts to this latest act of terror. Many leaders have already today expressed their support for Ukraine and Ukrainians, and I am grateful to all of them," said Zelensky in tonight's video address.
Today, Ukraine called for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council, reports Ukrinform.

Cry of the Army: Recruite 500,000 men

Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Norway unannounced and stated that during his two-day visit to the United States of America, on December 11 and 12, he received a positive signal regarding further support for Ukraine.
"We expect that the US Congress will soon adopt a key decision to continue vital support to Ukraine," Zelensky said.
