Bulgarian Court Appoints Two Temporary Assignees at Failed KTB

The Sofia City Court has approved the nomination of two temporary assignees who will manage the assets of collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank, or KTB, and run it on a daily basis.

Lazar Iliev and Rosen Angelchev will assume their new function within two days, BNR radio station reported on Wednesday.

LIC33 Group Reportedly Takes Control of Bulgaria's Vivacom

The LIC 33 group, comprising investors from the EU, is acquiring control of Bulgarian telecommunication operator Vivacom and other leading companies in the country, dnevnik.bg reported on Wednesday.

LIC 33 will acquire majority stakes in Vivacom and other Bulgarian companies, according to the news daily. The names of the other companies weren't disclosed.

Serbia Appeals Court Rejects Bulgaria's Request to Extradite Tsvetan Vasilev

Belgrade Court of Appeal has rejected Bulgaria's request to extradite Tsvetan Vasilev, majority owner of collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank, or KTB, Sofia-based BNR radio station reported on Wednesday.

The decision returns the case to the lower court, BNR quoted a spokeswoman for Belgrade Court of Appeal as saying.
