Wounded bustard found in Tunceli
A bustard, the world's heaviest bird species that can fly, which is rarely seen in Turkey, has been found wounded in the eastern province of Tunceli. The bird had a broken leg and was taken into treatment at the Elazığ Veterinary Faculty.

Bones of Dersim massacre victims reburied in ceremony
The bones of 11 victims of the Dersim massacre in 1938, including seven children, have been reburied in a ceremony in the current-day eastern province of Tunceli after having been recovered in mass grave excavations a year ago.

Bones of possible Dersim massacre victims to be tested
