US' Tillerson gets oil industry award, says he misses colleagues

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has accepted an award at the World Petroleum Congress, hosted by Turkey this year.

Council President Jozsef Toth described Tillerson, who is from Texas, as "a man born with oil in his veins" before presenting him with the Dewhurst Award, named after the founder of the congress, late on July 9. 

Greek foreign minister to visit Washington

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is due to begin on Monday a two-day visit to Washington where he will hold talks with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and National Security Adviser Army Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster.

Kotzias will also meet with members of the American Congress and Greek diaspora organizations. 

US letter to Serbia makes no mention of EU bid

BELGRADE - The United States' annual message to Serbia to mark its national day made no mention of the country's bid to join the European Union, which Washington has previously supported.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Monday issued a short statement to extend to Serbia his best wishes and hopes for "a prosperous future", two days ahead of its national day.

Dacic meets with new US Secretary of State Tillerson

WASHINGTON - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met in Washington on Thursday with new US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, inviting him to visit Serbia.

Dacic paid a visit to Washington for the 65th National Prayer Breakfast, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
