The EU "plans to invest money into building a humanitarian center at the Ponikve airport" near the town of Uzice, western Serbia.

EU Denies Funding Humanitarian Centre in Serbia
EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told BIRN that Brussels is not considering funding a joint EU-US humanitarian centre for financing, as Serbian media suggested on Thursday.
Serbian media claimed that the Western-backed centre could be a counterweight to the Russian-Serbian humanitarian centre in the southern city of Nis.

10th Kustendorf Film and Music Festival closes
MOKRA GORA - The 10th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival closed at Drvengrad, near Mokra Gora late Thursday with an award ceremony.
Fending off competition from 22 short films by young authors representing 19 countries, Israel's Michael Alalu won the Golden Egg - the festival's top prize - for the film The Thorn.

U.S. donates MRI workstation to Clinical Center
