Prime Minister Florin Citu will pay a working visit to Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday, during which he will have a series of meetings with senior EU officials, including the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen, respectively.

Investment promotion remains a priority for Romania, and particular importance will be attached to using European funds, Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare stated during a discussion held today with European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis, the Finance Ministry said in a release.

Some of the measures for easing Greece's debt will only be implemented if the country adheres to the commitments it has made on the primary budget surpluses, European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis said.

The Finance Ministry announced on Tuesday that Minister Euclid Tsakalotos will receive European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis at his office in Athens at 11.30 a.m. on Friday.

The meeting will be followed by a press conference.
