Afghan migrant throws woman out window after altercation
A 37-year-old Afghan male - whose initials are R.H. - has been arrested in the asylum center in Bogovadja, near Lajkovac, in western Serbia.
The suspect has been placed in police custody after he "threw his 22-year-old (female) cousin through the window" of the facility, Serbian media reports said on Thursday.
Gorenje workers in Serbia go on strike
Workers in Gorenje's fridge-freezer plant in the town of Valjevo on Friday "renewed their strike, started on Tuesday," Beta is reporting.
This came after the factory's management failed to meet their demands.

Sixty-year-old woman robbed pharmacies in Valjevo
A sixty-year-old housewife G.M. armed with a plastic gun managed, on two occasions, to rob a pharmacy in the center of Valjevo. She also robbed a pharmacy in Jadar on Kolubara. She took from facilities about 52,000 RSD (~420 EUR), reports Serbian daily "Vecernje Novosti".

Serbian gov't, Gorenje sign 12 mln euro memorandum
VALJEVO - Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Gorenje Group President Franjo Bobinac signed in Valjevo, central Serbia, on Thursday a memorandum of cooperation between the Serbian government and the Slovenian household appliance maker envisioning investments worth 12 mln euros, expansion of production capacities and new employment.

Italy donates EUR 800,000 for flood defense systems
The Italian government will donate EUR 800,000 for works on flood defense systems in Loznica, Krupanj, Osecina and Kladovo.
The agreements on the donation were signed by Italian Ambassador to Serbia Giuseppe Manco and representatives of the companies that won the tender Jugokop Podrinje, Vodoprivreda Pozarevac and Erozija Valjevo
