Serbian finance minister to speak at Vienna's Euromoney

The banking forum of central and eastern European states will bring together finance ministers and national bank governors and many experts in the field.

Vujovic will speak at an introductory panel alongside the finance ministers of Croatia, Slovakia, Armenia, Georgia and Lithuania, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.

Serbia's once iconic B92 TV station will officially pass into history as the name changes to O2 television, media reports have announced.

Dusan Masic, a former Radio B92 journalist and the author of a book about the radio station, "Waves of Serbia", told BIRN that latest decision on changing the name would make the sale of B92 easier.

SAM names Misa Lukic manager of year

Misa Lukic, Publicis One's Regional Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe, has been named as "manager of the year."

The Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) made the choice, and presented the winners - who beside Lukic, include Veran Matic, Miodrag Kostic, Zivorad Vasic, and Vladan Zivanovic - with their awards during a gala evening event.

Suspect arrested for sending death threats to journalists

Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic announced on Wednesday that a person has been arrested for threatening Brankica Stankovic and Veran Matic.

Stefanovic posted on Twitter that the suspect was detained for sending threatening messages via email to the editorial staff of the insajder.net website, led by Stankovic, and to B92's News Editor-in-Chief Veran Matic.
