Another three persons infected with novel coronavirus dead; death toll - 1,097
Bucharest, May 17 /Agerpres/ - Another three persons infected with the novel coronavirus have died in Romania, the death toll for this cause reaching 1,097, the National Institute for Public Health (INSP) informed on Sunday. Turkey expects to have tourism start in late May: Minister
Turkey expects to have domestic tourism start late May, while internationally after mid-June, the country's culture and tourism minister said on May 16.
"I hope, tourism will start with some tourism mobility domestically by May 28," said Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, speaking to broadcaster NTV.

Of the persons confirmed positive, 9,574 were declared healed and discharged.

Turkish army to start normalization as of June 1: Defense minister
Turkey's defense minister has said normalization in the military will begin June 1 which will include resuming conscription and military discharge, which had been suspended due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Romania's COVID-19 case count rises by 190 to 16,437
A number of 190 new cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been recorded in Romania since the last information that bring the total case count to 16,437, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official coronavirus communication task force, reported on Friday at noon. Of the people confirmed positive, 9,370 have been declared cured and discharged.
Iohannis: If situation gets worse, I will not hesitate to declare state of emergency again
President Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday that if "the situation gets worse and the data will show a galloping number of infections" with the novel coronavirus, he will not hesitate to declare a state of emergency again.
One more Covid-19 death takes toll to 156, as 10 new infections reported
Health Ministry adviser Sotiris Tsiodras said one more fatality brought Greece's coronavirus death toll inched to 156 on Thursday and 10 new confirmed infections have resulted in the total number of cases recorded in the country coming to 2,770.
He added that 24 Covid-19 patients remain intubated at the country's hospitals and 90 have been discharged from intensive care.
Two more people died, 79 new patients
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, two patients died from coronavirus, while 6.194 got tested for the last 24 hours, out of which 79 people proved to be positive to COVID-19.
Total of 10.374 cases with diagnosed coronavirus have been recorded.
A total number of deaths stands at 224, and the mortality rate is 2.15 percent.
