After laying the wreath, Vui talked to the veterans of the Battle of Koare, who also laid the wreath on the monument, and thanked them for everything they did for the homeland. "If we haven't done anything else, at least today we can talk about those who died and about your role," Vucic shared that fact with the veterans.
"Serbia is too small to issue orders to the White House, however..."
He commented on the upcoming meeting in Washington, scheduled for June 27.
"I don't know what the topic will be, or which delegation will go. I expect a rational conversation. Serbia is small to command the White House, but big enough to emphasize its interests," he said.
He once again denied allegations that Serbia would recognize Kosovo on the eve of Vidovdan.
Serbian Museum Puts Mestrovic’s Vidovdan Sculptures on Display
An exhibition of sculptures by Ivan Mestrovic from the collection of the Serbian National Museum in Belgrade opened on Tuesday night at the museum.
During December and January, visitors to the museum will have an opportunity to see 40 works by the famous Yugoslav sculptor, most them created before World War I, the so-called "Vidovdan fragments".

Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day) is celebrated on June 28. An important religious feast and date for the Serbs, it, among other historical events, marks the day in 1389 when the Battle of Kosovo was fought between the Serbian Kingdom and the invading Ottoman Turks.

President: Kosovo solution will spell my "end in politics"
Vucic said that he "knows that whatever the solution may be, this will be his end in politics, because Serbs will never forgive him for their better future."
"Serbs are such. Serbs will never forgive me their better future and peace. So in Serbia, only defeats and wars are celebrated," Vucic said in wide-ranging interview for the Belgrade-based tabloid Kurir.
US sees Serbia as "backbone of stability in Balkans"
During the meeting in Belgrade late on Tuesday, they spoke about the topics related to regional stability, European path of Serbia and the continuation of the Brussels dialogue, the government announced.
National Museum in Belgrade to reopen on Vidovdan
They late last week visited the building that is under reconstruction.
According to the Serbian government, Brnabic "pointed out that the reconstruction of the National Museum is one of the most important projects for the citizens and the future of Serbia."
