Global chaos at international airports
Air passengers are suffering major disruption at airports around the world after computer check-in systems crashed.
Problems have been reported at airports including London’s Heathrow and Gatwick, Charles de Gaulle in Paris, Zurich, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Changi in Singapore and Washington DC’s Reagan Airport.

Ryanair Threatened with Legal Action by UK Regulator
Ryanair has been threatened with legal action for "persistently misleading" passengers about their rights following thousands of flight cancellations, BBC writes.
The Civil Aviation Authority said it had launched "enforcement action" against Ryanair, the first step towards court action.

British Airways adds Kalamata and Chania to its flight destinations to Greece
British Airways will expand its summer flight destinations to Greece with the addition of two new ones in summer, brining its total to 9. The new destinations are Kalamata in the Peloponnese and Chania in Crete.
Passengers at Sofia Airport Top 4 Million in 2015
The number of passengers attended by Sofia Airport reached four million on Monday, a record high, airport officials say.
Of them, 1.5 million flew to or from Terminal 1, and 2.5 million used Terminal 2, which opened in 2006.
Last year, some 3.8 million people departed from or arrived at the airport.

Pilot writes excuses for students who missed school
An easyJet pilot, Wayne Mott, joked that he would write excuses for students on board who missed school because of the delay, according to Road Warrior Voices.
But 31 of them took him up on his offer surprising the pilot.
Easyjet plane makes forced landing after pilot passes out
An Easyjet plane flying from Gatwick to Crete was forced to land at Marco Polo airport, Venice, after the pilot lost consciousness. The co-pilot was forced to land the plane as paramedics rushed to meet the jet on the tarmac.
The pilot is now in hospital in a non-life threatening condition.
BA new flights to Greek island hotspots this summer
British Airways announced plans to include four new flight routes from the UK to the Greek islands of Kos, Corfu, Rhodes and Crete during the summer months.
BA will operate two flights a week to Kos and Rhodes and four flights a week to Corfu and Iraklion on the island of Crete.
Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport, 4th in Europe in terms of traffic increase in 2014
Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport has been ranked at no. 4 by Airports Council International-Europe in the European rankings of airports that recorded the highest increase in air traffic in 2014, within the category of airports that saw between 5 and 10 million passengers.
