Women's March on Washington

Led by women in pink "pussy hats," hundreds of thousands of people packed the streets of Washington and other cities in the United States on Jan. 21 in a massive outpouring of defiant opposition to America's hardline new president, Donald Trump.

Similar protest rallies were held in more than 30 countries around the world in defense of press freedom and women's and human rights.

The three Balkan capitals will hold women's marches as solidarity events, inspired by the Women's March on Washington that will bring hundreds of thousands of protesters on to the streets of the US capital, Washington, on Saturday.
