Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO also saw shipments grow compared to the previous year

The Chinese telecommunications leader Huawei topped the list of most valuable digital products brands in China for 2019 once again.

The company's brand is valued at 125 billion yuan ($ 17.8 billion), up 14% year-on-year. Xiaomi and Honor smartphone producers are ranked "second and third respectively"

For several years, consumers have constantly dreamed of the latest and most expensive smartphone models. They were both a symbol of financial status, as well as the progress of technology. For some time, however, people are most interested in far cheaper smartphone models, Engadget Online News reported.

A new study by analyst firm App Annie suggests the global mobile app economy was worth $1.3 trillion last year and is poised to skyrocket to $6.3 trillion by 2021 as users spend more money on apps, in-app purchases, and mobile commerce.

Apple might have their hands full, after, Chinese technology company Xiaomi debuted a stunning new phone called the Mi Mix. The phone replaces the traditional borders and bezels with a front face that is nearly all screen. It’s rumoured that Apple will likely attempt the same feat on the next iteration of the iPhone.

South Korean giant Samsung Electronics posted an 8.0 percent fall in second quarter net profit July 30 and promised "flexible" pricing of its new flagship smartphone after less than stellar sales contributed to a slump in its mobile unit's earnings.
