On Wednesday, a Corinth prosecutor ordered a preliminary investigation into the four-day fire that claimed two lives and burned 71 square kilometers of forest.

All schools of the Municipality of Xylokastro – Eurostini, in Corinthia, will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday.

According to the municipality, the decision to not operate schools for the second consecutive day was taken due to the extraordinary conditions that have arisen from the fire, which broke out last Sunday in the area of Rozenon.

A massive fire that broke out on Sunday in the Rozena area of Corinthia continues to devastate the region for a second consecutive day.
