Polish court orders Holocaust historians to apologise

A Polish court on Feb. 9 ordered two leading Holocaust historians to apologize to the descendant of a village mayor they said may have been implicated in a massacre of Jews.

But Warsaw judge Ewa Konczyk said Barbara Engelking, chair of Poland's International Auschwitz Council, and Jan Grabowski from the University of Ottawa will not have to pay a fine.

Greek PM lays wreath at Holocaust memorial

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday visited Jerusalem's Yad Vashem memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, where he took part in a wreath-laying ceremony. Greece's conservative leader also visited the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations, honoring the people who saved Jews during World War II. The list includes Evangelia Georgiadou, aunt of the Greek premier.

PM begins visit to Israel; talks to focus on energy, tourism, investments

Investments, energy and the broadening of Greek-Israeli relations will be at the center of a meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.

Mitsotakis' trip to Israel will be his first trip overseas after the coronavirus outbreak. He will be accompanied by six ministers, including defence and tourism.

President Radev will Visit Israel to Mark the 75th Anniversary of the Holocaust

From January 21 to 23, President Rumen Radev will visit Israel. The visit of the Bulgarian head of state is at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, President Reuven Rivlin, to mark the 75th anniversary of the release of Auschwitz prisoners and the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
