"Nobody asked people if they wanted Yugoslavia to break up"
Joska Broz spoke on the anniversary of the founding of the former state, where November 29 was celebrated as Republic Day.
He told Belgrade-based TV Pink that "nobody asked the people whether or not they wanted Yugoslavia to break up - it was a decision made by several powerful figures."

"Many in the Balkans" think that the breakup of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia has brought more harm than benefit, according to a new survey.
The Gallup poll, based on face-to-face interviews with at least 1,000 respondent from across the region, found that "Yugo-nostalgia" was still widespread, particularly in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Serbia's defense industry has presented its brand new and standard military equipment and weapons at the IDEX 2017 international arms expo in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Serbian Defense Ministry said that the companies taking part include Yugoimport SDPR, Sloboda, Prva Petoletka, Zastava Oruzje, Krusik, and Borbeni Slozeni Sistemi.

Belgrade classic car show takes place on Saturday
BELGRADE - One of the biggest classic car shows in the region will be held in front of the Yugoslav History Museum in Belgrade on Saturday, April 25.
The event will showcase a variety of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles, tractors, trucks and buses, and the museum will host lectures on the automotive industry, the Tourist Organization of Belgrade said in a release.
