G7 foreign ministers on Monday are meeting near Rome for two days of talks with regional counterparts on the Middle East, before turning to Russia and the war in Ukraine.

The Greek government has announced the creation of 600 new clerical positions to support the ancient patriarchates of Constantinople (in Turkey), Alexandria (in Egypt) and Jerusalem (in Israel), and the Monastery of Sinai in Egypt.

Transforming the traditional museum concept, Türkiye's first virtual reality (VR) museum, Müzeverse, opens at UNIQ Istanbul on Nov. 19.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday called on the Muslim world to apply pressure for an arms embargo against Israel, reminding that Türkiye has garnered support from 52 countries in this regard.

An Afghan delegation will attend the upcoming U.N. climate change summit in Azerbaijan, the foreign ministry spokesman told AFP on Saturday, marking a first since the Taliban government came to power.

Egypt's trade relations with Türkiye are "very robust and balanced," reflecting a healthy economic partnership between the two countries, says Egyptian Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Hassan El-Khatib.

Egypt and Türkiye "have highly diversified exports, which strengthen their trade relationship," Khatib told state-run Anadolu Agency.
