The digital labor card is evolving into a powerful weapon in the battle against undeclared overtime work, and consequently in favor of improving workers' incomes.

The government intends to implement the digital labor card across all employment sectors, Minister of Labor and Insurance Domna Michailidou said on Friday.

One of the first actions of the new leadership of the Labor Ministry will be the continuation of an emblematic reform that concerns the extension of the digital work card, initially to state companies and industries and then to tourism and food service.
