Medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle

Slovakia is in talks for the procurement of unmanned armed aerial vehicle TB2 developed by Turkish company Baykar, the country's defense minister, Jaroslav Nad, has announced.

Anka, an unmanned aerial vehicle developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), carried out its debut missionary flight in the eastern province of Elaz?? on Feb. 5. 

Taking off from Elaz?? Airport, Anka ("Phoenix" in English) ascended to an altitude of 19,000 feet to carry out a four-hour exploration and observation flight. 

The successful production of an indigenous tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by a partnership of two privately owned Turkish companies has unwittingly highlighted major delays in a government-run program for the development of a more advanced UAV, the Anka.
