The opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) started on Aug. 15 its "justice and conscience watch" in the Aegean province of İzmir, after holding the watch in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, Istanbul, and the eastern province of Van, Doğan News Agency has reported.

Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş suffered a heart spasm in jail on Dec. 10, HDP lawmaker Ayhan Bilgen said on Dec. 12 at the party's Central Executive Board meeting.

The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has decided to resume parliamentary works after a two-week boycott following the arrest of its deputies and co-chairs, a party official has announced. 

The Diyarbakir court rejected an appeal to the arrest of People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co- chair Selahattin Demirtaş on 14, November against the terrorism charges, reported DPA, according to Dogan News Agency.

Police have detained a missing Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputy in the southeastern province of Hakkari, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said Nov. 7.

"My friends left a note just now. Three deputies had been fugitives. One of them, Nihat Akdağon was caught by police at the entrance to Hakkari," Kurtulmuş told reporters speaking after a cabinet meeting.

A summary of proceedings asking for the removal of the parliamentary immunities of five Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputies, including co-chairs Selahattin Demirta? and Figen Yüksekda?, has been submitted to the parliament speaker. 

Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu appointed two new members of the interim government on Sept. 22, following the resignations of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) ministers Müslüm Do?an and Ali Haydar Konca earlier that day.

Beril Dedeo?lu was appointed EU minister while Mustafa Cüneyd Düzyol was named as minister of development, a written statement from the prime minister's office said.
