Juliette Binoche and Ralph Fiennes reflect on “The Return” – A modern reimagining of Homer’s Odyssey
“A Beautiful Penelope and a Captivating Odysseus” – this was the scene at the press conference following the premiere of The Return, directed by Uberto Pasolini. Inspired by Homer’s myth, the film stars Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche as the mythic figures Odysseus and Penelope reimagined through a modern lens.

The National Theater of Northern Greece presents an epic online production of the big epic itself, with 38 actors from its respected ensemble rendering Homer's "Odyssey" in its respective rhapsodies, in a series of 24 podcasts running through February 26 on its website (ntng.gr) and at soundcloud.com/ntngreece.

Emily Wilson talks about translating 'The Odyssey'
"It is so good to be home. This is a picture of my nostos," tweeted University of Pennsylvania classical studies professor Emily Wilson on May 13, attaching a photographs of her two daughters.
