BELGRADE - Serbian police have arrested two persons on suspicion that they abused the position of responsibility and were involved in unlawful lending practices in complicity with employees at the Development Bank of Vojvodina.

In this way, the suspects made an unlawful gain of over EUR 18 million, the Serbian interior ministry said in a release on Wednesday.

Parties agree to reshuffle provincial government

NOVI SAD -- The League of Vojvodina Social-Democrats (LSV) and the Democratic Party (DS) have reached an agreement to make changes to the provincial government.

The two parties made the announcement on Wednesday.
