Vucic: Serbia meeting commitments, but not contrarily to its constitution

Turkish ministers condemn Draghi's remarks on Erdoğan

Turkish ministers condemned on April 9 the Italian prime minister's remarks on the country's president.

"I condemn the low and unacceptable way of the appointed Italian Prime Minister [Mario Draghi] towards our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan," Treasury and Finance Minister Lütfi Elvan said on Twitter over the remarks of Draghi, calling Erdoğan a "dictator."

Death toll from typhoon climbs to 47 in Philippines

Death toll from a powerful typhoon that struck parts of the Philippines last week on Christmas has risen to 47, according to official media on Dec. 30.

The number of injured has also climbed to 143 while nine others are reportedly missing in the wake of the storm's landfall, the state-run Philippines News Agency reported.

At least 28 people have been killed after a powerful typhoon struck parts of the Philippines, the state-run disaster management agency said Friday.

Twelve people are reportedly missing in the wake of the storm's landfall, according to the agency.

Gales from Typhoon Phanfone, locally known as Ursula, slowed to 120 kilometers (74.5 miles) per hour, the agency said.
