Middle East: British Airways extends the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until the end of October
The airline British Airways announced today that it is extending until October 26 the suspension of its services to Tel Aviv, which have been suspended since September 24, citing the security situation in the region.

Emphasizing the enhancement of Cyprus' air connectivity, especially during winter, is a top priority of the deputy ministry.

Flybe ceases trading, cancels all flights

British airline Flybe said on Jan. 28 it had ceased trading and all flights had been canceled.
"We are sad to announce that Flybe has been placed into administration," the airline tweeted.
"Flybe has now ceased trading. All Flybe flights from & to the U.K. are canceled & will not be rescheduled," it said.

"British Airways" Announced that They will Cut around 10,000 Flights
British Airways will cut around 10,000 short-haul flights from Heathrow between the end of October and March.
The British carrier's move aims to minimize disruption to flights during the winter period. Some journeys to distant destinations will also be affected.
Heathrow airport posts big loss on UK Covid curbs
London's Heathrow Airport announced yesterday that it narrowed annual losses only slightly in 2021 despite the reopening of global air travel, blaming what it said were stricter passenger curbs in Britain compared to the neighboring EU.

Cyprus Airways: Spreads wings from Thessaloniki to Larnaca
Cyprus Airways, the Cypriot national carrier, announced its summer program to 11 destinations to support the tourism recovery effort.
The company will operate flights from Cyprus to Greece at 4 airports in the country: Thessaloniki every Tuesday and Saturday, Heraklion every Thursday and Sunday, Preveza every Wednesday, and Skiathos every Monday and Thursday.
