In a solo show in his native Thessaloniki Kostas Tsolis uses current affairs photographs, newspaper and magazine clippings, and documentary fragments pertaining to major global events and historical figures to comment on the notion of collective and individual memory. "Another Day in Paradise," at the State Museum of Contemporary Art, runs Friday to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

National Museum to stage exhibition Light in Darkness of WWI
BELGRADE - The National Museum in Belgrade will from May 10 to September 10 hold an exhibition titled Light in the Darkness of World War I to commemorate its 170th anniversary and the centenary of the outbreak of World War I.
Painter Aleksandar Lukovic Lukijan dies
BELGRADE - Prominent painter and graphic artist Aleksandar Lukovic Lukijan died in Belgrade at the age of 91, the Museum of Contemporary Art released on Tuesday.
Lukovic was active for a number of years in the management of the Belgrade Graphic Collective and he also worked as professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
