Wildfire breaks out in Drama, northern Greece
A forest fire broke out in the Neurokopi area of Drama, in northern Greece.
Some 18 firefighters with four vehicles and a team from the 7th Special Unit for Disaster Response (EMODE), as well as volunteers, have been dispatched to the area. Two aircraft and one helicopter are assisting from the air.

Cyprus and Croatia to send three firefighting aircraft
Cyprus and Croatia are to deploy firefighting aircraft to Greece through the EU-wide Civil Protection Mechanism, following an additional request from the General Secretariat of Civil Protection, to help battle wildfires that have intensified as the Kleon heat wave continues.
Cyprus has provided two Air Tractors and Croatia one CL-415 from the rescEU fleet of firefighting planes.
Kozani high school evacuated after fire breaks out
A high school in northern Greece was evacuated on Thursday morning after a fire broke out on the ground floor.
The students, who were in class when the fire started, were told to gather in the yard outside.
Five firemen with two fire engines arrived at the 3rd general high school of Kozani and managed to extinguish the flames before they spread to the rest of the building.

Two refugee facilities located in separate parts of Germany caught fire throughout the course of one day, local media reported. In one case, an arson attack is suspected.
In one incident, a wooden house was allegedly set on fire in Bergedorf, one of the boroughs of Hamburg, according to NDR. Multiple refugees from Afghanistan and Iraq are living in similar houses in the area.
