Gümüşlük Music Festival to open with Gülsin Onay
Organized by the Bodrum Classical Music Association, the 20th International Gümüşlük Music Festival will open tomorrow with a concert by pianist Gülsin Onay and Roman band Athenaeum String Quartet in the Ancient Stone Query. The event will continue until Aug. 28 with 21 performances by musicians from 10 countries.

Island put on sale for 220 million liras
The Rabbit Island, off the Türkbükü and Gündoğan regions of the Aegean province of Muğla's Bodrum district, has been put up for sale online for 220.2 million Turkish Liras ($11.8 million).
The sale advertisement of the island located 16 miles away from Bodrum was published on an online real estate platform with the title "Island for sale in the magnificent bay of Gündoğan."

Istanbul, Thessaloniki to be on Bodrum Cup’s route in 2023
The route of the Bodrum Cup will be Istanbul-Thessaloniki-Bodrum next year, the event's organizer has announced.
"We are proud to have provided benefits to our country and society with all the events, projects, studies and valuable collaborations we have established," Süleyman Uysal said.
Int’l Gümüşlük Music Festival to host concerts, shows
Organized by the Bodrum Classical Music Association, the International Gümüşlük Music Festival will once again present a full program for music lovers for its 19th edition, starting from July 18.
Aegean tourism hotspots flooded by heavy rains
Heavy precipitation caused flooding in the Bodrum, Milas and Marmaris districts of the southwestern province of Muğla late on Dec. 4.
Bodrum suffered the most damage, with streams brimming over and rocks falling from hills blocking some of the main roads. Many houses and offices on the ground floor flooded.

Jazz Across the Water | Rhodes/Bodrum | August 28 - September 9
The Rhodes International Jazz Festival in Greece and the Bodrum Jazz Festival in Turkey have joined forces in an initiative aimed at building cultural bridges. As part of the initiative, titled "Jazz Across the Water," the organizers will be bringing Turkish jazz musicians to Greece and Greek acts to Turkey.
