Policeman remains in medically induced coma
The 31-year-old police officer injured with a naval flare in a confrontation with volleyball hooligans on Thursday night is in a medically induced coma, his doctors at Nikaia General State Hospital have said.
He remains in critical condition in intensive care following a second surgery on his thigh.

A 40-year-old man - a patient of UMBALSM "N. I. Pirogov" this afternoon. He tested positive for COVID-19 and died after a sudden cardiac arrest. The man was admitted to the hospital two days ago with symptoms of the new coronavirus in moderate condition. He was immediately diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and later confirmed with COVID-19.
Toddler critical after choking on curtain cord
A 2-year-old boy remained on life support in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Thursday, with medical authorities saying that he was in critical condition.
The toddler was taken to hospital after going into cardiac arrest following an incident where he was reportedly found hanging by the neck from a curtain cord in his grandmother's home on Wednesday.

Man Urges Others To Learn CPR After Road Accident
A local man from Paulton, England, has uploaded an emotional video after he attempted to resuscitate a motorcyclist after a road traffic accident in Somerset. The man, along with others, attempted to resuscitate the biker for an hour and a half before they had to stop. "Stopping CPR was the hardest thing I've ever done." Richard Howman states in his video.

Man comes back to life after 40′ with no heart beat! (photos)
A North Carolina man whose heart stopped for about 40 minutes has paid tribute to the emergency workers who brought him back from the dead.
John Ogburn, 36, suffered a cardiac arrest while working on his laptop near his Charlotte home on 26 June.
Two police officers who happened to be nearby began CPR on the father-of-three within a minute of the 911 call.
