Thermite

Since early September, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and various bloggers have shared footage on social media of a new type of drone, known as the "dragon drone," in action. These drones have been shown releasing a thermite mixture—a combination of aluminum powder and iron oxide—over Russian positions hidden in forests.

An army bomb disposal unit on Thursday neutralized a World War II 500lb bomb that was found in the southern Athenian suburb of Glyfada.

The army unit used thermite, a pyrotechnic composition of metal powder and metal oxide used, among others, to disable munitions without the use of explosive charges. 

A drone carrying just a single grenade infiltrated an ammunition dump in Ukraine, setting off an explosion that caused an astounding billion dollars worth of damage! The incident points to the growing use of drones in wartime, particularly off the shelf civilian products harnessed to conduct sabotage and other attacks.
