One of the seven defendants who were questioned today in connection with the EOPYY fraud case has been sentenced to prison. This defendant, known as “Michel,” was reportedly the intermediary and trafficker of the illegally prescribed medications.

The Athens Public Prosecutor’s Office has pressed serious criminal charges, including eight felonies and two misdemeanors, against those arrested for the fraud scheme against the Greek National Organization for Healthcare Services (EOPYY).
