Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu won the top stop in the 2021 Superbike World Championship title in Indonesia on Nov. 21.

Razgatlıoğlu started the race in the pole position. The leading role changed hands during the fierce race but he eventually finished second and grabbed the world title ahead of the final race of the season.

Turkey's Toprak Razgatlıoğlu won the Portugal round of the 2021 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship on Oct. 2.

Razgatlıoğlu, who races for Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK, edged out Ducati's Scott Redding by 0.691 seconds to claim victory at the Portimao Circuit in Algarve.

Team GoEleven's Loris Baz came in third, finishing 10.628 seconds behind Razgatlıoğlu.

Turkish motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu won the opening race of World Superbike's UK round on July 3.

A street vendor has sparked outrage in Turkey after security footage emerged showing him picking up and throwing to the ground a Syrian toddler in a historic bazaar in the western city of ?zmir. 

The video shows the man hurling the toddler to the ground, causing his head to smash against the ground. 

Syrian migrants who are attempting to enter ?zmir in preparation for journeys to Greece are increasingly being prevented from reaching the Aegean Sea, while others already there are being gathered in a stadium.
