Greece could emerge as a "point of reference" and a "hub" for artificial intelligence (AI) in Southeast Europe in the coming years, Professor Christos Tarantilis, partner and head of the central government and public sector at EY (Ernst & Young) Greece, said last week.

Aegean Airlines head is EY Entrepreneur of the Year
Aegean Airlines head Eftychis Vassilakis received this week the award for the Greek Entrepreneur of the Year by EY Greece.
This distinction means that Vassilakis will be Greece's representative at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year in June in Monte Carlo, along with winners from another 47 countries and territories.

EY Greece partners with InvestGR forum
EY Greece and the InvestGR Forum have agreed to a strategic partnership that begins with the 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020, titled "Greece in the Pole Position." The annual conference will be taking place online in two installments this year, on July 15-16 and October 8-9.

Strategic partnership for EY Greece and InvestGR
Ernst & Young Greece (EY Greece) on Monday announced the signing of a three-year strategic partnership agreement with the InvestGR Forum: Foreign Investments in Greece, an annual event organized by consulting firm Public Affairs & Networks.

PPC rate hikes are likely after record losses, experts say
Public Power Corporation (PPC), Greece's main electricity utility, has recorded heavy losses last year and its own auditor warned about the firm's sustainability. Experts say painful decisions may be required, including rate hikes and asset sales.
PPC recorded after tax losses of 542 million euros (607 million U.S. dollars), according to the 2018 financial results released on Tuesday.
Etihad Airways and Air Serbia continue partnership
Etihad Airways also "remains a fully committed and supportive shareholder in partnership with Air Serbia's majority shareholder, the government of Serbia," a press release said.
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said she was satisfied with the decision.
