Funding secured for Slovenian-backed wind farm project in Serbia
The construction of a large-scale wind farm in Serbia, a joint project of Slovenia's Alfi Green Energy Fund and Serbia's MK Group, has received a major boost as the investors have been granted a bank consortium loan. The 105 MW project is valued at €155 million.
EBRD invests EUR 395mn in Serbia in 2018
This makes the bank's total investments in Serbia since 2001 exceed five billion euros, Beta reported, citing a press release.

Serbian businessman buys airport in Slovenia
Kosctc is the owner of the Serbian company MK Group.
According to the Slovenian newspaper, the Port of Koper in late 2018 sold an additional 15 percent stake in the airport to Hotel Palace Portoroz - owned by Kostic - handing the Serbian businessman a stake of slightly over 53 percent.

Construction of wind farm starts in northwestern Serbia
KULA - MK Fintel Wind, a joint venture of the Italian public enterprise Fintel Energia Spa and Serbia's MK Group, announced on Tuesday that it has begun the construction of a wind farm near Kula, northwestern Serbia, with installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts, and the works are expected to be completed by the end of October.
EBRD ready to fund agricultural companies in Serbia
BELGRADE - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has invested around EUR 300 million in the Serbian agribusiness sector, and is ready to continue to fund all good projects and companies in this sector that are not over-indebted, the head of the EBRD's Agribusiness Sector Gilles Mettetal said on Thursday.
IFC's EUR 25 million loan to MK Group
BELGRADE - Serbian agricultural company MK Group signed on Friday a EUR 25 million loan agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), to be used for agribusiness development.
The agreement was signed by MK Group President Miodrag Kostic and IFC's Associate Director Carsten Mueller.
