On Thursday morning, the Israeli military radio station announced the death of Aziz Salha, who was killed by a missile strike in central Gaza. Salha was photographed in 2000 with blood on his hands from the lynching of two reservists.

Main SYRIZA opposition leader Stefanos Kasselakis is set to visit the West Bank on May 26 - 27, reports say. 

Kasselakis will reportedly visit the city of Ramallah for meetings with officials of the Palestinian Authority. 

Further details regarding the visit's agenda and the SYRIZA members joining him are to be disclosed shortly.

Özgür Özel, the chairman of Türkiye's main opposition party, has said he will pay a visit to the West Bank to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in April in support of Palestinians subjected to the Israeli offensive.

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is set to meet with his Palestinian counterpart, Riyad al-Maliki, in Athens on Friday.

It will be their third meeting, with the first one taking place in September in New York, in the context of the UN General Assembly meeting.

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will visit Ramallah on Thursday, where he will meet with Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Staiyeh.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has conferred upon the president of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), Taha Ayhan, a medal of merit at the Palestinian seat of government in Ramallah.

Ayhan was awarded the medal in recognition of his role in supporting the Palestinian youth and defending Palestine's cause.

Ramallah – Foreign Minister Anže Logar met his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki he visited Ramallah on Tuesday. Bilateral and EU-Palestine cooperation, the situation in Palestine, current developments in the region, and Slovenia’s EU presidency topped the agenda. He also met Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeas.

"The efforts of Arab countries led by Egypt, which involved interested parties, were crowned with success in the form of a draft ceasefire agreement that could enter into force within 24 hours," Jibril Rajoub said in an interview with Saudi Asharq News TV Channel.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas over the phone on March 21, reaffirming Turkey's support to Palestine in its fight against the novel coronavirus.

According to a statement by the Communications Directorate, Erdoğan and Abbas held a phone call to discuss recent developments and regional issues.
