GERB has designated representatives to organize leadership negotiations, which will only proceed if aimed at forming a government. The party's executive committee decided this after assessing the recent positions of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB).

GERB has stated that they will not withdraw Raya Nazaryan's candidacy for Speaker of the 51st National Assembly, according to Deputy Denitsa Sacheva. Speaking to bTV, she emphasized that the outcome of the early elections is clear, and the election of the Parliament's Speaker will determine whether new elections are needed or if the country will move forward with a government.

Boyko Borissov, leader of GERB and former Prime Minister, emphasized that Bulgaria is heading toward new early parliamentary elections. Speaking at the party's national meeting, he described this as the last opportunity for a wiser political approach before Monday.

The political landscape in Bulgaria is currently marked by uncertainty following the recent elections. Boyko Borissov, chairman of the GERB parliamentary group, has formally declined the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) invitation to negotiate forming a government with the second mandate. In his letter, Borissov reaffirmed GERB's position of not supporting a second mandate under any circumstances. The stance remains consistent even for the third term.

"There Is Such a People" (TISP) sees an expert cabinet as the most suitable option, according to Toshko Yordanov's recent remarks regarding ongoing discussions with GERB about forming a government. Yordanov indicated that while GERB appears to be warming to the idea, nothing definitive has been decided yet, emphasizing the complexity of moving from concept to execution.

According to a recent survey conducted by the Mediana sociological agency, GERB leads the pre-election polls in Bulgaria with a 14% lead over the second-placed "Revival". If the elections were held today, nearly 29 percent of Bulgarians would cast their votes for GERB, while "Revival" would receive nearly 15%.
