Top Turkish diplomat attends swearing-in ceremony of Lula
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended the swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 2 of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who returned to power as Brazil's president for a third term.
"Attended oath taking ceremony of @LulaOfficial, President of #Brazil. Conveyed President (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan's message of congratulations," Çavuşoğlu said on Twitter.

The Brazilian tropical forest in the Amazon is suffering a record number of fires this year, according to new data from the National Space Agency.
The National Space Research Institute (INPE) says its satellite images show an 83% increase over the same period in 2018.
