Two bear cubs killed in traffic accident in Florina
Two bear cubs have been killed after being hit by a vehicle in the northwestern prefecture of Florina.
The remains of the two bears were found on Monday morning by motorists on the Florina-Kozani national road.

A family in Perivoli, Grevena, received an unexpected visitor.
According to trikalavoice.gr, while the family was outside enjoying their coffee, they were surprised to find a bear strolling around and eating in their yard.
After a short time, the bear finished its walk and left the area.

Mad honey victim bear named ‘Balkız,’ released to nature
A bear, who sensationalized social media for a video showing her passing out from eating too much mad honey, has been named "Balkız," (Honey Girl) by the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry and released to nature.
"The name of our teddy bear is 'Balkız.' Let her live by the name," the ministry tweeted on Aug. 13.
