These Two Bulgarian Parties Opt Out of the October Elections
The Bulgarian "Green Movement" has announced it will not participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 27, 2024. This decision was communicated via a Facebook message from the party, which has previously split from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) before the last National Assembly elections on June 9.
Freedom Movement & partners keen to form govt by 3 June
Ljubljana – The Freedom Movement, the party that won the 24 April general election, and its prospective coalition partners, the Social Democrats (SD) and the Left, would like to form a government by 3 June and will set out the distribution of ministerial briefs between them by the end of the week after the first round of official talks on Tuesday.

On January 16, 1990, the Ecologist Party of Romania (PER) was founded, under the leadership of Adrian Manolache, according to "Romania: data and facts. 1989-2009,'' published by AGERPRES in 2010. On April 20, 1990, a convention of the party's National Conference elected Otto Ernest Weber as chairman, after Adrian Manolache resigned office.
