Bulgaria's Pironkova Makes It into Eastbourne 1/8-Finals
Bulgaria's top female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova defeated on Tuesday Australian Samantha Stosur at the Eastbourne International.
Pironkova secured a swift victory over Stosur 7:5, 7:6 (7:0).
This is her first-ever success against Stosur which adds 55 points for her in the ATP ranking.

Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova Crashes Out of Australian Open
Tsvetana Pironkova was defeated by Dominika Cibulkova in an Austrian Open match played Thursday.
Cibulkova, last year's Australian Open finalist, beat Bulgaria's top female tennis player 6:2, 6:0, thus having achieved a total of eight victories against Pironkova.

Bulgaria's No.1 female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova defeated British number one Heather Watson 6:4, 6:0 in the first round of Australian Open on Tuesday.
Pironkova took 83 minutes to edge her way into the second round of the tournament, according to reports of dnevnik.bg.

The 2014 Garanti Koza WTA Tournament of Champions starts in Sofia's Arena Armeec on October 28 and ends on November 2.

Ivanovic powers into semifinals in Tokyo
TOKYO - Serbian No. 1 Ana Ivanovic advanced to the semifinals of the WTA tournament in Tokyo, after defeating Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) on Friday.
Safarova could not keep up with the third-seeded Ivanovic, who played at a consistent level throughout the match.

Jovanovski loses to Smitkov after strenuous match
LONDON - Serbian female tennis player Bojana Jovanovski failed to qualify for the Wimbledon WTA fourth round as she was defeated by Tereza Smitkova of the Czech Republic in the third round match on Friday, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 10-8.
